Plum Colored Bluing

The plum colored bluing on some TLA guns was caused by attempts to blue at the incorrect temperature. I experienced the problem and spoke with Bill Grover about. He is the one that explained the temperature problem and fixed my bluing. Bill was not focused in the details of production. He was more of an idea guy.

Phil,
Actually, it had as much to do with his metallurgy as his bluing temperature. I know of one TLA that was reblued to a very nice, dark color and in a month was plum again.
