Was cruising through Rim fire central today and one fellow said that Grafs stopped mail ordering handgun and rim fire ammo to Kalifornia as of yesterday.  Went to their webite, saw nothing, but Cabelas says no more orders after Jan 21st to California for handgun ammo.  I have not checked my other ammo suppliers, but I am sure they are aware of it.

I read 4 gun magazines, I am a member of the NRA and GOA and did not know about this??? ???  Thank God I don't live anywhere near Kalifornia and their comrad party members.

If you live there better stock up. :(

I talked to someone yesterday that said that it would be decided in court this week or the next. Before Arizona there was a chance it would be dropped; now, probably it will be upheld. If it can be shot out of a handgun the dealer is supposed to copy down everything on our drivers license and get a thumbprint to boot.  Sad times to be living in kaliforny.

Will wonders never cease. Most of the ban was struck down as being unconstitutional. Jerry Browns' replacement as A.G. will now decide whether to appeal the decision. Let the shipping of ammo resume.

CALIF. 'HANDGUN AMMUNITION' REGISTRATION UNCONSTITUTIONAL . . . A California Superior Court in Fresno enjoined enforcement of AB 962, enacted in 2009, that would have required all purchases of "handgun ammunition" to be registered. The statute also would have mandated that firearms retailers fingerprint law-abiding customers like common criminals and would have banned mail-order ammunition sales. The law's definition of "handgun ammunition" was so vague and ill-defined that the court declared the law constitutionally void. Kudos to the National Rifle Association and the California State Rifle and Pistol Association Foundation for this important victory.

I added the emphasis to their Kudo to the NRA since many here think that the NRA is worthless at best and a hindrance at worst.
