gcrank,

One Ruger #1 costs about the same as 3 or 4 Handis, but the Ruger still has the same magazine capacity and hot barrel issue.  Buy the 45LC & 357mag and you still have plenty of cash leftover for optics or reload supplies or chamber reamer rentals.   Also current law states if you buy the Ruger you have to give up your Handis to fellow GBO members. ;D

I regret to say, I'm of the same opinion.  I can buy at least 3 Handis for the price of a Ruger, and frankly, I don't see that much difference in accuracy, handling, or anything.  You have a greater caliber selection in the Ruger, but my Handis shoot as well.

At first I was saddend by the news but then I remembered not everyone likes blonds. So take a twirl with the new girl. If you find the others in the gun safe don't like her, well jealousy is just plain ugly...

Rusty, I think we get old and smart at the same time.  That's why I like my pistol caliber carbines.  They swing fast, shoot well and are easy to carry, easy to load for, and economical to shoot.

Rusty, too bad you aint closer; you could probably troll it near me and get a bite. If its a light sporter at about 7.5# I would think it wouldnt be all that heavy? How about a gun-bearer like in the movies? (though MY wife isnt keen on the idea, one of the g-kids might).
I better not put a turban on him though, can you imagine what would happen if a Game Warden showed up.......
