Has anyone tryed Schuetzen powder

I was checking around and through Main powder house you can get this stuff for $10 a pound shipping and has-mat fee and all. I am shooting T7 at over $25 a pound! However if it is like Elephant where you have to use about have again as much powder to get the same velocity I would not want to fool with it. It sure would help my fixed income pocket book if it is any good.

Good Time, I heard a quite a bit about it on another web site, I think johnt is familiar with it, I tried a pound of it in my .54, 2F, and liked it, but my .54 is one of those that will shoot any BP well, just doesn't like the faux powders at all. I didn't have to use any extra to get my accuracy/power (hunting load) in fact the only BP that I use less of, to get the same results, is Swiss, but it's a heck of lot more expensive too. I never noticed having to use extra Elephant BP, but I did notice, somewhat less consistency, but I've heard they corrected that problem, something about the wood they were using if I remember right. RR :D

Charlie Although we haven't yet tried it, from what I've heard it is better than Elephant but not quite as good as Swiss. James will do you right at the Maine Powder House. He's a great person to do business with.
