Ironsighter brand rings/bases?
« on: March 15, 2011, 12:28:22 PM »
Been YEARS since I've seen let alone used the Ironsighter brand of rings. They were good for aluminum rings back then. Anyone tried them recently? Here's an example of what I'm looking for-

I haven't used the offset rings, but I do own several of the ironsight bases for Handi rifles.  I posted some pics to the NEF forum under PRW ring failure thread.  The rings seemed to have failed because of recoil and very little (really no) support across the middle of the base slots on the original H&R bases.  The ironsighter base has "meat" all the way across the slots not just on the edges.  I think they are a great economical base for the heavier kickers.  Now if it will stand up to a 500S&W that's another story.  (It's not a steel Warne)
