i want to get a extra barrel for my 22 hornet. what number should i call to ask what barrels they have.

There's only one number to call, (866)776-9292 in Madison NC, don't count on an accurate answer tho, no one has received any accurate barrel availability info from them recently.  :-\

thanks. i want to get a 308 barrel and didnt want to send in my frame and have it sit there

Unfortunately that could still happen even if Customer Support tells you Ilion has them in stock, by the time Ilion gets to your frame, they may be out of them, just one of the perks of buying accessory barrels, they fit them first come, first serve.  :-\

The longest reported here is about a year, the longest I've waited is 3 months or so, for an in stock barrel, plan on a month or so, they've fitted and returned barrels in as little as 10 days, but two members recently got their barrels back in about a month.
