One way is as good as the other, just a matter of preference. I think USPS is a bit cheaper. A fishing rod shipping tube cut to length works great.

I use Fed-Ex, that way I know it gets there!

UPS won't take it unless you take it to the main office, which is about 30 miles round trip for me.
Hub is less than 3 miles, go figure!

If it's lost USPS won't track it for at least 3 weeks, "they say"!!!

FED-EX!!!

Read the sticky What do you use to safely ship out Barrels in? in the H&R Classifieds too, how you pack it is more important than how you ship it, personally I use USPS, I've shipped literally hundreds of shipments thru them and never once had a problem and have received hundreds also, no problems on my end, a couple times items shipped parcel post were a bit slow, but I still received them, I use Priority Mail almost exclusively, it's fast too, usually two days more often than not.  ;)

No shipper has restrictions on firearms parts, just firearms, if they refuse a barrel, you're dealing with an ignorant acceptance employee, very common in 3rd party stores like Kinkos and UPS stores, straighten them out with their own regs if you need to deal with them for convenience, they don't know the difference between parts and firearms.  ::)

Same here!!!  UPS and or USPS picks the package up at my door or mail box as the case my be. Neither have lost any of the "many" packages I have shipped.

100% USPS Priority mail with tracking and insurance. I have literally shipped thousands of items. Only ONE was ever claimed lost. That was later found to be an attempt at insurance theft.
