Schneider drilling

"Scheiner" drilling. I have a line on one. Does anyone know about them?

Boxlock, greener bolt, side clips, no scope mounts, 16 ga X2 over 8 X 57 (I presume it is a rimmed cartridge)

P.S;  I'm sure the name is wrong!

It may actually be a SCHNEIDER!

P.S;  7 Jan 11.  It has been stored in an attic for 30 years and the stock has shrunk.  We might give it a miss, as it looks too much like a "project"!

I saw one on GB several months ago.  The only think I know is that I believe they where made between WWI and WWII.
