Good morning, This last weekend my wife and another couple went to a gun show to just to browse and then went to a gun shop to pick up parts for my friends Dillon reloader. While we were there we looked at several 45s and while looking the salesman ask me if I would like to see the best deal in the store and when I said ok he pulled out a slightly used Kimber Pro Carry with a price tag of $458.00. I allready have a Ruger sp101 that is my carry piece and I was not looking to replace it but when I picked it up it was love. My neighbor, who owns 2 Rock Island was drooling and said that if I did not buy it he would,so I looked at my wife and she asked if this was a good price and both my neighbor and his wife said yes then she looked back at me and said OK.This gun was on consignment and shows holster wear ,but very little of that and has a perfect bore. I don't think it has been shot too much. We also stopped at the range on the way home and this gun is a hoot to shoot. At ten yards it hits what I aim at and is much more pleasant to shoot than full house 357's out of my Ruger. This will be my carry peace from now on and as soon as I can get my wife to get her ccw she will use the Ruger loaded with 38's. Guys I have had a $h1t eating grin for the last 2 days and will probably have it for a long time. I do have one question, what is a good inside the wasteband holster? I know this post is long and rambling but I am still stoked about this.
