Need help to id this rifle

I have this old antique rifle that I would like to sell but I don't know what it is. There isn't any markings on it as far as a name but on the top of the receiver there is an emblem with 3 circles overlapping each other. The gun appears to be complete and has a "hidden box mag" , at least I think that's what you call it.
Any help would be appreciated.

My first impression is an Arisaka, the old model with a dust cover.  But that's just a guess based on first impression.  what do I know...   :-\

 I think that is what it is. The markings are the same as what I found on an info site about Arisaka's.

Looks just like the one my Pop brought home from the South Pacific.  It's an Arisaka.

Only thing odd I am seeing is the crest. Doesn't look like it's decrested and it doesn't look like a chrysanthemum? Could you post a close up pic of the crest on the top of the front of the reciever?

It's an Arisaka., Look at the safety,the long tang and the pear handle on the bolt. Also the one gas vent hole

I noticed the same thing.  As I remember, the dust cover was done away with for war time production.  Maybe the 'mum crest design was changed at that time.    :-\

Yes the symbol is like the top two in the chart. I will have to look it ovr closer and see if there are any other markings on it. The info says they were stamped on the left side of the receiver but I don't recall any numbers, etc. being there. I won't see it again until this weekend.
He has a few of these old military rifles and actions, 1- Spandau 1890, 1- Arisaka, 2-71/84 barrelled actions, 2- Styer 1890 barrelled actions and a Lee Enfield Cut-a-way carbine.
