Alot of GB forum members know about Bob Munden, who holds 18 world fast draw and shooting records.

Here is a video of Lightening Bob doing what he does best;

I have seen him before but it's been a while. When I watched the first part of that I thinking man he cocky. After watching all of it all I can say is wow.

Bob was quick as a child..........I think he learned to walk at two weeks, and ran the 100 yd. dash at 1.5 sec's. at the tender age of four

He does have a web site. I was amazed when I saw him on cable tv and I bought one of his videos after I couldn't get him out of my mind. I have watched the video, and shared it wit other shooters. Even people who don't like guns are amazed by him. I recommend it if you are looking for a good video.

I was not intending to be snide. I've seen these guys perform and they are nothing but spectacular. One program explained the use of light loads and plastic or a type of wax bullet. The dbl shot was unreal. I had to see it on slo mo to know he fired 2X. I certainly didn't mean to play down his talent. POWDERMAN.

Sorry, powderman, I thought you might be an unbeliever in how great this guy is.

He's also a talented gunsmith specializing in fast shooting guns. If you've never seen him fire a 45 auto, you owe it to yourself to find some video. His offhand pistol shooting at 200 yards with iron sights would be considered decent shooting from a bench with a scoped rifle.

I've been amazed watching Bob shoot over the years. As to whether he's as fast as he once was, who knows. We all slow down over time. Any person who can split playing cards in the air, is one heck of a shot in my book. I watched one show where he started out shooting a half dollar piece flipped into the air and ended up shooting an aspirin after working his way down in coin size. A buddy was watching it and said it was faked until we backed up the video and turned the volume up. You could hear the coin being whacked bu that .45 caliber bullet. No question when the pill got hit! Just a cloud of dust!

Actually he does quite well! I've seen him break a ballon @ 100 yards offhand two hands with a S&W model 60.
Now I've shot 2" bbl guns enough to know how difficult it is, they actually are quite accurate off sandbags, & Bob is simply amazing. Think of it a Ballon @ 100 yards standing on his feet shooting unsupported with a 2" S&W J frame. Yes Bob is good.
He's also a master at tuning up a Colt. When he gets done with them they feel like they are running on ball bearings.
Bob is the real deal.

Last time I saw a piece on Munden on one of the outdoor shooting shows it said that he will hand tweak your colt (and I presume colt replica's) for about $300. I work with a guy who is a big western buff and have been encouraging him to do it. If I ever get a six shooter that I like enough to hang on to, I'd love to do it.

Just last nite on impossable shots watched Cisko fire 18 shots in 4.39 seconds using single actions. One drawn from the holster and two laying on a table in front of him. I prob. coundent pick up that many rounds from the table let alone shoot that many in 4.39 seconds/

That puts into perspective the "slow lock time" that folks used to criticize the SA revolver for. Maybe it's slow, but I guess it's fast enough.

I've seen him shoot his 1911, and you would think that a semi functioning would slow him down, but not so's I could tell.
