Contender Forearm on a G--2 ?
« on: January 23, 2011, 07:33:44 AM »
I have a Contensder Forearm that I would like to use on a G-2 on occasion. What modifications need to be made for it to fit? How much material needs to be removed and where. It is painted black so I can touch up as needed.

IF you will take the forend and try to mount it as you would on a reg.  contender you will see where the wood hits that bump out on the G2 frame and you will only have to sand out a little on each side to get it to clear, on some of the forends you have to round the top edges but if you try to fit it you will be able see what you need to do. hope this helps.

Not all will need modification.  I have a bunch and only had to modify one.  Do what Deacon says and you will see where the mod has to be made, if at all.
