I Got A Tikka!!

Did some horse-trading with a local dealer (with a gun I won in a raffle) and wound up taking home a really nice Tikka model 695 Master Synthetic in .270 caliber. Total cost for me? $70!! (includes $20 for the raffle tickets I bought.  )
The rifle came with a hard case and a crappy scope, so I did a little swapping off another rifle. All I have left is to get it sighted in.
I cannot find much in the means of bad reviews on these rifles, so I'm pretty excited about getting it to the range. The rifle appears to have been hardly used at all!
I'll keep you posted as to how well it shoots.

Well, I got it tuned in. It shoots really nice. Considering it was a blustery day & I didn't have the most comfortable or steady rest in the world, I still managed 1" groups.

WOW. just over an hour and all sighted in and shooting good. You must be closer to the range than I. Congrats on a nice gun, price and shoots great to boot.

You are a lucky man.  The tikka 695s are great and getting hard to find (and expensive).  I've got a 25-06, 30-06 and 7 RM in the 695.  Love the stock and they do shoot very good.  Too good to ever trade.
