I should have included a warning to be certain the firing pin IS the problem.. Check pin protrusion and mainspring tension first. Also check for the biggest problem gunsmiths find in firearms repair...grunge. It can slow down hammer falls, block pin travel, interfer with sear movement slowing release.. adinfinitem... Clean first. Check the protrusion and shape of the pins tip and headspace. Remember if headspace is excessive the pins light strike is likely caused by excessive reach needed.. Also the 37 uses a fairly complex pin system,,dirt will cause many problems!!
