Any strong preference either way? Noticeable accuracy or other benefits?

No real preferance. I like stainless because it's easy to clean, but I've got no aversion to regular blued barrels either. With triple seven cleaning just isn't as difficult as with pyrodex. Barrel steel just dosn't seem to be an issue with cleaning triple seven. Now when I shot Pyrodex on the other hand.....................

I like stainless as well, for cleaning purposes and a little corrosion cushion.

When it comes to accuracy, it seems to be more of a general barrel quality / tolerance issue than carbon vs. stainless. That would point to Savage / White / Knight as the better barrels, with T/C barrels seemingly being extremely good, or extremely bad. The rest of the pack seems to vary all over the place, gun-to-gun.
