500 S&W Veloicities in a Handi

What are you folks getting as far as velocities out of the 500 S&W in a handi?  What grain of bullet and speed.  Thanks

As a general rule,outta my 18" bbl handi,using the 350's - 440's,I am gettin' another 300-350fps over the published vels of the "X" frame revo.

These are not max loads, and all were accomplished with H110. A couple of other powders will give you  another 30-50fps.

I have a buddy that has a 27" custom bbl for his Encore Pro Hunter, that loads to the max, and is gettin' some super high vels. --- pruhdlr

610 gr. @ 1425fps and 440gr. @1900fps out of a 16.5" barrel.  The 610 isnt a max load but is extremely accurate and great deer/hog medicine.

700gr RR @ 1430fps, 440gr CP @1900fps, 385gr Rem Bonded @ 2040fps, 350gr XTP @ 2130fps, all with max loads of Lil'gun.
