Looking for a High quality 20X Spotting scope, no variables.
« on: December 17, 2003, 11:51:12 AM »
As the Subject says, I'm looking for a quality fixed power spotting scope. The catalogs are full of variable itmes of one kind or another. I don't want or need any of them for my purposes, keeping it simple is a favorite thing of mine.

Good afternoon,
Forrest

Forrest,

You could go with a Nikon Fieldscope III with a 20x eyepiece.  This would give you a 20x60 fixed power spotting scope of good quality.

Jon,

Hey, I was just over there at the site you provided and there is no product listed as a "Nikon Fieldscope III" that I could see.

Plenty of rifle scopes and some spotting scopes and a some field glasses but no "Fieldscopes" at all.

Did I miss something? Or is there another location I should check?

Good evening,
Forrest

Actually no you did not miss it.  It is a Closeout item.  We do not stock them, but our distributor has some in stock.

Here is the link to Nikon's website on the spotting scope.

F:  Yes! That looks like the very item I'd like to have. Please tell me how much it is. A close-out deal sounds good as well.

Good evening,
Forrest

I can get one in 4-5 days and the price would be $399.00 for the body and $99 for the 20x eyepiece.  Let me know what you think.

Forrest,

I found another one that might interest you.  It is a Nikon Sky & Earth 20x60 Spotter.  Below is a link to more information:
