SB2 firing pins versus SB1 firing pins
« on: February 03, 2011, 02:45:03 PM »
Okay I checked the FAQs, but sorry Mr. Moderator if I missed any information already posted.  If you have an SB2 frame and use shotgun barrels is there any disadvantage to the "rifle" firing pin on shotshells versus the SB1's "shotgun" firing pin?  Or does it really matter? Thanks for your help.
You don't have to be crazy to be my friend.....but it helps! 25-06 Ultra Rifle w/280 Remington, 30-06 Ultra Rifle w/270 Ultra Comp barrel, 243 Ultra Varmit Rifle/308 barrel.

Willie,

All of my shotgun barrels have been fitted on sb2 receivers. Never had a problem. Not sure if that is unusual.
