Nowhere to list ?

I have a collection of high quality S&W grips to sell off. I would like to give GBO members first crack at them. The problem is there is nowhere to list them unless I throw them in with motorcycle parts and real estate. Maybe a classified category for just GUN [firearm] parts? I have very successfully used the muzzleloading and contender classifieds. If you want Contender stuff you go there. If you want muzzleloader stuff you go there. If you want a main spring for a 'N' frame, where do you go? I think a gun parts only category would empty a lot of shelves. The rule of multiple listings being on a single post goes a long way to eliminate clutter, good!

I have a selection of unique, hi-end grips that the GBO community would love to have access to at brother prices, but until there is a more viable venue, will stay on the shelf. I am not a commercial seller. I just feel I would like to share these things with my fellow geezers, instead of this fine stuff ending up in pawn shops and landfills. The kids would rather have the cash, and have already benefited from the 'trickle down'.

We should have a popular new classified section:  'Pistol and Rifle Parts and Accessories'

Before I can start a poll to authorize a new classified [Pistol and rifle parts], GB requires a moderator. Would anyone like to moderate? ? ?   Wouldn't that be fun and rewarding?

PA:  Honest Buddy, I think you can list them in one of the Classified Forums.  One post 'general classified' is looking for a bolt for a rifle, and others sell parts.

I'll just betcha that if you list them as Custom S&W grips in one of those forums you will find guys like me who are going to be able to benefit from your 'trickle down' concept;  at least them we old graybeards can get a good look first.

The General Classifieds is the proper classified forum to post firearms parts other than receivers if there's no specific forum for them like the TC or H&R Classifieds.

 What in the world are you talking about? Here is a list of items from today's General classifieds:  Knives,boots, guides, Harley parts, micl. books, deer cleaning,fishing reel, flare gun, bees wax, about half the front page.

The "proper place" because there is  "no specific forum". General classifieds or the highway. THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO HERE. Are my posts that difficult to understand?  It would seem to me 'Pistol and Rifle parts and accessories' would have a brisk trade. Am I wrong ? Do gun parts require extra attention drawn to it? Why ?

If you choose to reply to this post please read my post first, then think about it, then respond rationally. If I can not get a moderator, game over. I will Not list my precious grips in a catchall forum, period. Even EBay has a section called 'gun parts'.  GunBroker has a detailed parts section. GBO doesn't.

I am sorry if I have offended anyone, please forgive me. Then wake up and get over it.

Clearly you haven't taken a course on how to win friends and influence people.

Grips, holsters and all sorts of gun parts are sold on the General Classifieds all the time. Usually they go quick fast if priced reasonably and so they don't stay long. What's on page one is merely what has been posted most recently. Why you care what else is sold there so long as they sell is beyond me.

If for some reason your items are too good to be sold here then by all means sell them elsewhere but if you list them and at a reasonable price they likely will go fast. I recall someone with a huge pile of custom grips awhile back who sold them all there and fairly quickly.

I'm not going to set up a separate forum for gun parts I just don't believe it justified. I will think on the idea of allowing them on the classifieds with firearms and ammo.
