I'm not sure just what this is.

This was sent to be by a friend who knows I have an interest in cannon.  Subject line was "Not the way to do it."

 I think the big one is an over-sized spud gun, but the smaller ones might be bowling ball mortars. 



(and a big thanks to my wife who first extracted the link from the site it was on - one of the mods had justifyibly removed it earlier - and then found the video on Youtube.)

Thanks Joe for finding.  The link that was with other one just wasn't fit for this board.

This shows why you shouldn't use a tire for a wad.... :)

Personally, I liked him running up as if he about to light the cauldron at the Olympics.  On the bright side, at least he had hearing protection on.

But are those bowling balls on the ground behind some of the others?  I can't tell.

Thanks for recognizing that it was an honest mistake.  Some boards would have just kicked me out without a word and I would have been wondering what went wrong.

Now that's the first cannon I have seen shooting truck tires including the rim..........

We know bowling balls fly

we know 5 gal water bottles filled with concrete fly

and now we know tires fly.......


So who has a video of someone firing the kitchen sink down range?....... :o

That's hilarious, thanks for posting it! This also proves that 'Black Foresters' can have themselves a healthy chuckle without the need of having to invade a neighboring country.

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.
