« on: February 27, 2011, 07:17:21 AM »
well i ran to town this morning and picked up one of my new toy's. i did not get a chance to shoot it today, but will burn some powder come morning. S&W 360 in .357 mag, scandium frame, weighs in at 13 ounces.

also pictured is my new bear barrel for my contender .358 JDJ. gotta get some powder picked up so i can get it loaded. i can't wait to touch it off.

here's a pic of my small collection. just gotta figure out what gets added next.

AA2520 is THE POWDER for the .358 JDJ. IMR 4320 came the closest to it but was still a distant second. Quite honestly I never found a third worth loading. AA2520 gives the most velocity and best accuracy or did in mine.

the little bit of testing that i've done so far the .357's are not to bad, at least to me. as far as pain and fun goes i also used to ride bulls for the fun of it.

GB   thanks for the tip, i ordered up some today.
