Yup that's the intent and I'll bet King will make it happen. Randy has a forum to moderate now and he'll keep the inline guys INLINE.  :-D  :-D  :-D  :-D

Thanks, Rollingb. I was curious about where we are with "Traditional". I see discussion regarding scopes, fiber-optics, stainless steel rifles and such and was wondering where the line is drawn. I don't see how a scope sighted, stainless steel rifle can be "Traditional" but so be it.

Tucoblue,.... The "side hammer" lock will allow such a rifle to be used in a "traditional ONLY " hunt.

Like you, I disagree on some of the "sights" and "finishs", but at least thet "type" of lock has all the general "chacteristics" found in "true" traditional rifles (enuff so, as to be "legal" anyway)!! :agree:  :toast:

rollingball   Your definition just made me an orphan since the hammer on
1836 pattern Hopkins and Allen underhammer is in the center, underneath
maybe but fer shur in the middle.

Clodbuster,.... Thet "buggy rifle" of yore'n still has the nipple screwed into the barrel "from the side",.... so I'd jest call it an "up-side-down" traditional rifle ('bout like the "mule-ears" or "side-slappers")!! :)

You ain't converted thet rifle to fire 209 primers yet, have ya????:-D  :-D

If you shoot it "Hollywood style" thet hammer WILL be on the "side"!! :)  :D

rollingball;  Still holdin' her in the regular way.  Never could get the hang of a sight picture on the side like that.  But with the lightnin fast hammer drop and nipple directly over the powder, that thing has 'bout zero lock time so that shoulda' helped do that trick hold thang.

Clodbuster,.... You could always "move" the sights over a couple'a "flats"!! Thet would be easyer then move'n the hammer over on the "side", where it belongs!! :-D  :)  :-D  :)  :D

How about a Traditional Muzzleloading Rifle being muzzleloaders which were used prior to the appearence of commonly used cartridge rifles.  Which would make the traditional muzzleloader period ending somewhere prior to the Civil War give or take a few years..
