traveling to Chile
« on: February 14, 2011, 11:53:50 PM »
Anybody have any experience of Chile?  I may have a chance to go to work in Chile for an extended period of time. I have done some research and Chile seems like the best place in South America. They have quite a bit of hunting there and gun laws are strict but not as bad as one might think. At least as far as I have found.  It would be great to talk to someone with any kind of personal experiences. I have a lot research to do still.

Chile does seem to have a functioning government. I have not traveled in many years. My friends tell me to be cautious. Other than western Europe and Japan, Anglos are a target.
All Americans [U.S.] are wealthy. As a friend of mine who did oil exploration in many remote locations said, It's a jungle out there.
