You just bought one of the best IMHO.  Mine is the original non-B.  It shoots very well.  I replaced the springs on mine when I got it because it had set unfired for 17 years.  No flaws since.  It is one of my favorite carry guns and plincking guns. As durable as they come.

These cz's are awesome!!!  I think there the best 9mm pistols out there.  I have a CZ85DB in 9mm luger and it rocks and so do my CZ83's and CZ82's too there all flawless wether there in 9mm luger, 9mm makarov or in 380acp.  I haven't seen the CZ83 in 32acp yet but i'd like to add one someday to my collection along with a CZ75 too there the choice of the russianspec ops.

I did go up two sizes stronger on the recoil springs from wolf on my CZ85DB and my CZ83's/CZ82's.

The only thing wrong with the Cz75b is calibre, and that is a matter of preference, as some people think the 9mm is great.  I would probably like it better if I had  decent bullet mold.  You will never get a 1911 quality trigger pull on a Cz75, but, that is a minor thing. They are the choice of russians who have a choice, and are widely used by countries all over the world outside the U.S " sphere of influence" . I often carry mine.  It is accurate enough for combat, small game and varmints, and it is reliable as they come.
I don't necessarily endorse hot handloads, or +p+ factory loads, but the Cz will handle them as well as any other 9mm.

Hands down one of my favorite center fire handguns in my collection.  Get the buffer for the guide rod from Midway USA.  Will add lots of life to your guide rod.
My FFL holder requires any firearms to be shipped to them via another FFL holder.  So, If I make an offer on a firearm please let me know if this is capable of being done from the start.  Please do NOT mark an item "SPF" to me until we "both" are happy with and in agreement on shipping, funds and the transaction in general.   Thanks

Is the CZ 75B in .40S&W not an option?  I've pretty much divested myself of all things in 9mm which included 3 HiPowers and quite a few CZs.  I did keep one 9mm CZ, a CZ 75 SP01 Tactical.  (I don't count the P01 that my son "liberated" from me and still has.)   :)

Generally, any new handgun is either .40S&W or .45ACP.

I, too, was wondering about this comment.  My Dad has a Cz75B in 40S&W and loves it.  I love it.  Great gun, fantastic reputation, they've been making hand guns and rifles for years.  You certainly did not go wrong in acquiring a CZ75.  I have a CZ75 SP01 Tactical that turns everyone who shoots it into a CZ75 fan.

Speaking of which, I let my wife shoot it for the first time this weekend;  now she wants one, but in stainless.  I told her before she fired it that she'd want one after she experienced it.

Are all CZ 75b's 15+1? What I'm getting at, I started to order one today and the shop's jobber told him that he had one and it was a 10 shot.

Was probably a 40, or possibly one of the compacts.

Its a twin to my cz85db and you can get 18rd or 17rd mags for it too.  I think there is a 20rd mag also.  Checkout www.cdnninvestments.com  Once you shoot the cz75 you will see what were all talking about, i waited 20+ years to get a 9mm pistol and i'm glad i waited and got the cz85db.
