It’s one thing for an executive to want his company to do well and advance an environment to support that. It’s another when you conspire to create a crisis that impacts the entire population negatively so your company can gain. GE under Immelt, is conspiring with Obama to cause a slow decline in oil production thus increasing our dependency on costly imported oil. The rise in oil price will eventually tip the scales in the cost analysis sending domestic power companies to GE for alternatives products. Just like the rising cost of gold has sparked gold mining to be highly profitable, the same is true for oil costs. The higher the cost, the more those high priced GE toys make sense.

Obama will make billions and so will GE and Immelt. Pure evil of the highest form. We are not talking about greed or even over ambitious executives.We are talking evil. Why else is Immelt always in the White House.

Cabin, please list the sources for the above. After doing a google search and reading several articles it appears that Obama is finally doing what the conservatives have moaned about him not doing and had appointed someone with a strong business background.

Immelt has not been appointed to a post. That would be a violation of the COE "code of experience" that has been deployed by the Obama administration. That COE asserts, that anyone with actual business experience is automatically not qualified to participate in the White House Co-Led Liberal-Communist movement.

No it actually does not go back to Bush. Those spikes in price had actual supply shortages associated with them. Today, there is no actual supply shortage. It’s all an illusion put forth by O, Immelt and the rest of their co-conspirators at the EPA. This is like water gate. About 30 years from now someone on their death bed will reveal the truth. In the meantime, you just have to evaluate the intelligence data and make the best decision you can.

I heard two of the reactors already melted down, but it was contained.  They have over 6,000 spent fuel rods from the last 40 years of use in unprotected pools.  Pumps to cool the pools didn't work, so the water slowly evaporated, then what was left exploded into steam.  Then the rods are still hot with radiation, so they can begin to burn and start fires.  The soot from these particles are radioactive.  So it seems to me the spent fuel rods pose more of a danger than the reactors themselves.  We therefore need to build breeder reactors to use up this spent fuel to reduce the volume to 10% of what it was.  I also think drilling deep into the earth as far as possible to dump what can't be reused would be a good idea.

So most 'stimulous money' for energy production is going offshore via the offices of Immelt. Tell me something I don't know!!  This sort of undermines your "unions/taxes cause offshoring thesis".  But yeah...what you got here is another TPTBer cashing in on Globalism... and again at common taxpayers expense. Some people will do anything for a buck...know what I mean, Vern?.. AND What did you say GE payed in corporate taxes last year.??

Just like a 4000 watt death ray, you aint gonna do it with AA batteries. If we are going to consume these huge amounts of energy, we need to produce huge amounts of energy.
