My brother and I took a little road trip today; I lived in Crawford County years ago, today being a nice Day for a drive, we were checking out gun stores from West Moreland County to Erie County. Granted I have not been to Crawford County in years, when I left Meadville, Robby’s was still in Business, so I am sure we missed a few along the way. One thing is for sure. The further North we went the higher the prices went. I don’t know much about the place, but we stopped at a gun shop in Edinboro Erie Co, must not have much competition, their prices seemed rather high. One example a few years ago I bought a Henry 22 Rifle at the Delmont Wal Mart, I paid $189.00 for it, This shop had the same rifle used and not what I would call in good condition for $289.00, At one time there was a Gun shop just North of Edinboro on 99, but I see he either moved or closed up shop. At one time his prices were not bad. I bought a Ruger P-89 and a Marlin 336 off him on one of our trips. But that was 6 or 7 years back.
