Digital scales

I have been using a RCBS 505 scale for years. I want to move up to a digital scale . I am starting to shoot a lot of cast bullets and need a faster way to weight bullets . I have about $200 worth of gift certificats from christmas from cabella . What would be the best scale for the money? Whould like one that runs off of 120 volts. I will be near electricity most time. Also wouild like to have one with a check weight included. Thanks!

  I used the PACT BBK when i was weighing cast bullets. It worked very good for that. Didn't like it for weighing powder though.

I have the RCBS Rangemaster 750.  It comes with two calibration weights.  Used weekley for a few months now.  To me it's a big upgrade in reloading over the balance scale.  So far so good, very consistent on holding zero.  Nonetheless these are made by someone in China for RCBS. Read the Midway reviews.  It is possible to get one that doesn't work too.  Has 120 and 9 volt operation. I'm sure it's not the best scale around but no complaints here so far.

I had the chargemaster before I sold everything. Now that I am buying again I bought the chargemaster for the second time. And I would for a third. It works.

I bought my Digital scale to weight bullets two 5 gallon buckets of misc bullets, and now all it's use for is cast bullet & steel shotshell loads.

It's the cabelas 1500 it did not come in the fancy case that the new one does but I think I paid less then $40 it's still working fine after 3-4 years and a ton of bullets and shotshells.

For me, I would buy a digital scale/powder measure. The Hornady lock-n-load auto charge has a lot of features and seems to be of good value for the money.  Smartreloader also makes a scale/measure as well as the RCBS Chargemaster.  You can search You Tube for videos of each.

Ive got a pact scale and dispensor and the lyman 1200 dispensor both are good units. Nice thing about the pact though is you can buy just the scale and have the option to upgrade to a dispensor later if you want.

I bought a cheap no-name digital when I first started reloading and then began to worry.   I thought, "Generally, you get what you pay for.   How accurate can this thing be??"

After mulling this thought over in my mind, I took an ordinary metal washer and a dime to my local pharmacy and asked the nice lady behind the counter to set her HIGHLY accurate scale to grains and weigh these two items.

The pharmacist never blinked an eye.   First question, "Do you want it because you reload?"

"Sure do." I responded.

"So does my husband." as she placed the items individually on her scale and closed down the plastic cover.   (They use the plastic cover to limit the amount of air flow that might disrupt the reading of the scale.)   She gave me the weights and handed them back.

Took them home and was very pleased to find out that the little cheap scale was SPOT ON.   I saved those items in a container and periodically weight them to ensure that the scale hasn't changed.   Even used them on my balance beam scale.
