choate pistol grip, anyone have one to give review?

they say its a forend.   is that right?

they also say its so your hand doesnt come off the forend that easy during rapid fire.

I would like a pistol grip buttstock if someone knows of such an animal.

It's not a pistol grip forend, it replaces the butt stock.

I have one and it is solidly built and very strong when attached to the reciever. It makes the Handi very handy in a pack or as a truck gun but it takes some getting used to as far as accuracy, for a close range protection single shot it is fine. Be sure to use a long enough barrel to meet the Federal overall length requirements. IIRC it is stamped right into the grip to be used with a 22" barrel or longer. I have mine on a 22" 20 gauge nickled barrel and reciever with a synthetic Storearm forearm and a black sling and it actually looks pretty nice....<><....:)

The penalty for making such statements on GBO is that now you have to post a pic or two, otherwise, we may thinks you are just yankin' our collective chain. That's fine with me, and when Guido and Vince get here ( ;)) perhaps they can help me post the pictures. However, if they are no more computer savvy than I am we will still be SOL with no pictures....<><.... ;D

My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.
