I had several boxes of it and it shot great.

I'm a firm believer that there is but one bullet to use in the .35 Remington and more especially so in a Marlin. That's the 200 grain round nose. I have no need for any other. It's the bullet that made the round's reputation as a deer killer way beyond its paper ballistics.

Unlike Graybeard, I think the Speer 180 gr FP is a great bullet, but only loaded to velocities higher than the 2095 fps of the BVAC ammo.  The 180 gr is a tough bullet, and it penetrates deep, and it works better at velocities around 2300 fps from the muzzle.  Right now I am loading the 180 gr Speer to 2400 fps out of my 20" barrel 336 RC.  Works great on whitetails.

The BVAV ammo uses the Speer 180 FP and Remington brass If I remember correctly.

Depending on what you hunt, you can give the 220 gr.Speer a try as well. BTW that is a good bullet for the 358 Win,350 Rem Mag and 35 Whelen to use.
What is the point of Life if you can't have fun.
