Bear Hunting in Georgia
« on: December 22, 2002, 03:23:03 PM »
I have a quick question for anyone that has Georgia knowledge of the Management Areas. I am planning on doing some scouting this spring and summer and if I manage to find a good spot, do some bear hunting this fall. I have seen the pages on hunting regulations and it seems that you have to have a half a dozen different things to get to the WMA's, especially if your an out of state hunter. Is there anyone out there that can nail down exactly what I will need and what the total cost would be to stay a week? Any simple answers out there? Thanks for any information.

I think Twine was looking into this for the guys on the SSRF. You might hunt him down in the list of members (helpful hint: he registered Nov. 20) Dunno which page he is on tho.

Write him an e-mail thru the site and ask him for help. He doesn't log in often so a PM isn't the best. He won't see the post for sure on this forum.
