Am over on the east side of the Cascades, we try to keep the rain to the west of the mountains. Snow & mule deer over here. Moss, fog, rain, and blacktails over there. Washington is a good place, east side or wet side. My sons and I stay busy here, hunting, fishing, shooting, bicycling, skiing and generally roaming the hills. Ride motorcycles a bit too. It's been a good home, and we're out in the hills year-round. I'm a bit of a shutterbug, so you'll likely see a few photos in my posts. Not particularly hung up on one kind of rifle in particular. I hunt with a bolt action most often, but get out with the single shot Ruger, the traditional muzzle loader and the lever gun often enough. Have also done some archery over the years, and seem to be getting back into that.
Here's me, with my Ruger Number One and a Washington bear taken last fall:
Oldest son with his AR-15 varmint buster:
Youngest son with the 6mm Rem, he surely does like that rifle, and shoots it well:
Bunch of doggone outdoorsmen. Mama has her hands full trying to keep a clean house with the three of us dragging back muddy boots, and game, in our sturdy 4x4 pickup.
Looking forward to spending some time here. Time to time one of my sons may come on and post as well.
Regards, Guy
