Where to buy Contender Frame??????

:D Can anyone tell me where to buy a New TC Contender Frame...not G2....having trouble finding one.......Thanks

:D  Yes, contender frames are becoming hard to find. At the last OK gun show Ed Contenders had 3 or 4 SS Flat sides new only and has 5 or 6  frames at T/C for conversion. That is changing to easy open.  Ed went to his Mon's for holidays. I would call and leave a message on his machine (405) 879 0879. Twyman

Dan do you HONESTLY believe there will EVER be a G2 on the streets? It is my understanding that two prototypes have been hand built and that is the entire world's supply of G2s even tho Contender production has been shut down for well over 2 years now.

Personally I'll believe they will some day exist ONLY when I have one in my hands found in the gun counter of a store not some mock up shown to gun writers to see if there is an interest in them for some future generation of shooters not yet born.

Yer right. This is a real sore subject with me.

Don  is right , the G2 would be an improvement. From what I have readed in Shooting Time and putting past history togetheir. We will not be able to buy just a G2 frame by it self for some time. We will be able to buy a complete rifle with a G2 23" barrel on it; but not just the frame. T/C is a manufactoring company not a source of feel good needs source. T/C will make only frames for sale only when the complete G2  rifle sales fall off.  Someone did say some where that the G2 23" barrels wouild not fit on the old frames.  Also, we hear that T/C has all of 2003 production committed to dealers. It will be a long time before you hold a G2 only sale frame in your hands. It will happen but not as quickly as we T/C er's would like. My 2 cents, Twyman

Looking around for one myself. You can still find a few dealers with one or two still in stock. Also check some of the gun auction sites (but the new ones are starting to go up in price for novelty value). Gunbroker.com gunsamerica.com are two I use alot. gunbroker is like e-bay, gunsamerica is a place for you to contact the gun owner and work a deal.
