Met an oldtimer that was complaining about primer prices. Told him about Wolf at $15/k. His response was that the last time he bought primers, they were $30/5K. He also used to buy 4895 powder loose in paper bags for $1/lb.

$8/100 is way steeper than I'd pay.  Even at my overpriced gunshop I can get CCI or Federal for $4 per 100.  Winchester/Remington are $5 per 100. 

At $80 per thousand, you're ahead buying online even if you're just buying one brick of 1000 and that's it.
