Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine, FL
« on: February 22, 2011, 01:34:42 AM »
In January, I toured the Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine, FL while I was up at Mayo clinic in Jacksonville.  I took lots of pics.  I searched on here and found old threads with pic links that are no longer active/linked.  Should I post mine up here to refresh St. Augustine in our minds?

You worried me for a second, but I checked, and my pictures still show up:

We have never complained about having to many pictures.

We have complained about having pictures with no explanation...

OK, after many trials and errors, I think I got this remote host thing squared away.

I took these last month.  I apologize for some of the quality.  They were all taken with my iPhone, and downsized by the remote host.  I can email the original sized photos if anyone needs for scaling or anything.  I took these more to get detail on the barrels, carriages, and hardware - not the fort itself.  And I did not shoot the later US barrels that are outside the walls, down by the water.  The detail on some of the oldest barrels was incredible.  Enjoy.

Wow! Neat pictures. Thankyou for sharing. It's like taking a trip to the fort in Florida without leaving my house.

Thanks for the pictures!  It's always nice to see someone else's approach to shooting the same subjects I've shot!
