Universal M1 Carbine Paratrooper
« on: February 13, 2011, 07:18:42 AM »
Good Afternoon

I'm needing some help on a pretty nice Universal M1 Carbine Paratrooper I have aquired. I have a complete shooting/functional carbine, but the bolt/nut for the folding stock was missing. I hvae been searching the internet high and low with no luck, (gun parts doesn't have one), so if anyone might have one or know where I can locate one please shoot me an e-mail.

Try http://www.auto-ordnance.com/PA-1AO_m1.html they may be able to help you. Hope it is the paratrooper pictured, that one is still being made. Universal made another one they called a paratropper model # 5000PT which is an under folder. It had an ak-47 under folder on it. Would probably have better luck breaking down your gun and taking it to the hardware store trying to find a nut, bolt and washers to make it work. Then paint them black. I honestly doubt you will find an ak-47 nut and bolt only. They do sell the full under folder stocks, I think I have seen them lately for $40 or so.
