 :D ;D RicMic............

Your question covers alot of different things. First off, you have to realize that the 645 is one of the largest semi-auto pistols produced. Size wise it falls in the same class as the Auto mag, the Desert Eagle and it takes some large hands to really use and understand the 645. I carried one for 6 years of my duty time as a Law Enforcement officer. They shoot great and very accurate with several different brands of ammunition. The 645 that I still have shot very good without any kind of a malfunction or jam. It shot any brand of ammunition as long as it was a 230 grain bullet. I was issued Hydro-shocks for duty and they shot remarkably accurate. I had no problems passing all my qualification scenerio's. you have to understand it is heavy for a semi-auto, but once you get use to its weight, you should have no problems. Enjoy your 645 and take the time to clean it and proper Lubrication always helps. It will last a lifetime and give you many years of service. Its a shame that S&W stopped producing them. Wonderful handgun that your and everyone who owns one can enjoy. Practice with it alot and enjoy it forever.
