Since all of them are made in China or offshore I buy the lowest wattage with the most lumen output. At almost 12 cents a kw/hr I try to use the least bit of power.

Yea i have a hard time trying to figure out whats wrong with our economy when a government agency makes a rule that closes light bulb factories in the U.S. and mandates the use of a light bulb that their own rules prohibit the manufacturing of in america thus sending many jobs and an entire industry to china.

The mercury vapor in those things is very toxic.  I think they maybe terrorist weapons.   Terrorist might throw them at people.  I think they should be band.  Their just too dangerous.
