12 ga. Barrel & forend Question
« on: March 12, 2011, 06:56:51 PM »
I am not sure if it is even H&R. It has a snap on forend, but all it says on all the pieces is 664 YA on wood forend, metal hooked to the wood and barrel. On the top of the chamber area it says *electroSteel*choke bored*  it came with some H&R stuff after a friends dad passed away.
If you can tell me what it is I would appreciate it. If it is H&R then it would be a 1962, but I am hoping one of you can tell by the pics. Thanks thejanitor

Thank you Tim- After reading a few of the links, I took out Great Grandpas old "Enders Royal Western" 16 gauge and looked and they are close to being the same. Thought I almost could swap barrels but I can't.  This post can be moved or deleted since it isn't H&R. Thanks thejanitor

Sure looks like a 220 savage barrel.
