Brooklyn Nights Picture - what motorcycle is James Dean sitting on?

I had never really looked at it that hard before , and always assumed it was his Triumph TR5 Trophy with custom handlebars. A friend argued the other day that it definitely is not a Triumph Trophy and thought maybe his 1953 Royal Enfield  or triumph Tiger.  (I think hes full of cra!@# ) and still believe its his trophy

So I ask the experts , what ride is it ?

the headlight mounting arms are slightly radius-ed , looks like a Enfield to me

the tank looks like triumph, bars look :o, head light mount and speedo look sportsterish, I'm gonna say none of the above, but rather a painted "generic" bike
