I just received six factory SIG 220-1 seven round mags I ordered last week, was glad to finally have extra magazines for my new to me SIG .45 until I tried loading them. My choice of ammunition is Remington's 230gr Golden Sabre of which I have a large supply, never had any issues with it in any other .45 magazines until now. The SIG magazines have indentions at the top of the tube that are there to allow the magazine catch to slide over the edge of the magazine a bit easier, with the Golden Sabres, these "dents" cause the bullet nose to hang, preventing them feeding. My only option is to send these back and go with newer eight round magazines which hopefully will allow my ammo to work, can't afford to buy more ammo of a different type at this time. Anyone else ever had this problem with any firearm magazine? Its my second time, my FNP 9mm magazines won't allow 124 gr fmj's to load, the internal dimensions of the magazine are too small.
