Put father-in-lw's eye drops in dog's ear
« on: March 22, 2011, 03:29:59 PM »
My blue heeler has a yeast infection in one ear.  Vet gave me drops to put in both ears every day for ten days.  Wife and mother-in-law flew out of town for a wedding shower.  Gone for three days.  Ear drops were left in refrigerator, next to eye drops for father-in-law (age 87).    I was keeping him while the wives were away.

Put the eye drops in the dogs ear every day.  Never noticed I was using the wrong medicine.  Dog is greatly improved but still can not see out of either ear.

Color me gullible.  I thought this was about needed advice due to the wrong meds placed in the poor dogs ear.  Ya got me good.  I am still chuckling.  I never saw it coming.

This is all very interesting, but I have to wonder how much the FIL's hearing improved?   :-\

I have noticed that every married man i know has a wife that puts out his pills and makes sure he takes them.., Gentlemen do not make your wife angry unless you know the difference between you medicine and the poison she is likely to substitute

Mom had a lady friend years ago who developed a problem with diarrhea.  Went on for a while till one morning she put on her glasses before taking her morning medicine and realized she was taking stool softener instead of her hormone pills.  Goatwhiskers
