Keyhole
« on: April 20, 2011, 08:22:58 AM »
Just went out to shoot my New Henry H001TM 22mag for the first time and it key holed several brands of 30gr 2200fps ammo Remington and CCI and the Winchester Dynapoint in 45gr it was like a shotgun instead of a rifle :o what gives? Does anyone know what the twist rate is in this rifle and why would it be keyholeing the 30 grainers at 25yds?

Well I called Henry today and asked them what the twist rate was and why my rifle 1/9 and to ask why it was key holing the 30gr 2200 fps ammo and shooting the 40 gr 1850fps ammo just fine. They got all excited and said it should shoot all the ammo and insisted that I send it back to them and they wanted to repair it so it would shoot all 22 mag ammo so they are sending me out a shipping order so I can return it for repairs. Made in America life time warranty these people are number 1 in my book.
