Nikko shotgun
« on: March 19, 2011, 01:05:22 PM »
I am trying to research a Nikko 12 gauge model 5300 over/under.  There is very little info on the internet that I have found so far.  I'm interested in when it was made and approx. value.  It has quite a few very small wood dings and some scratches on the barrel but the bores look brand new.  I found one model 5300 in a current auction in England for $1371 but it looks to be in better condition than this one.
My 2003 Blue Book of gun values dosen't show anything concerning any values on a Nikko.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Zulu

Nikko,Golden Eagle and Winchester 101 are all the same gun with difference in looks. In England the 5,000  series is base grade and 6,000 a little more fancy and the few 7,000 very fancy. The base gun value will be about the same as a win 101 field grade even though the base grade Nikko looks better.
