Well the wife came to her senses....sorta

Nate Nastardly...my 9 year old son..is getting his first personal all to hisself gun for christmas.

We are getting him the Henry lever action rifle. Not the yellowboy...as its way to heavy for him to shoot offhand.

I cant wait to see his face Christmas .........

I am almost as excited as he wil be.

I was taught to shoot by a caring Father from the time I was 6 years old. I remember the good quality time I spent with him in the Summer of 1948.

Yep, remember my first gun. Winchester 55 single shot .22 back in 1957. In an attack of foolishness, I sold it to a friend when I moved to something bigger and better(?). Found him and the gun a few years ago. Cost me a lot more to buy it back than when Dad bought it new. At least he was kind enough to sell it back to me. Kids are grown and gone. Can't wait now for my 3 yr old Grandson to get a little older. Already bought his first, second, and third gun! 44 Man
