Thank you , Ironglow for taking the time to do that. We do everyday. Funding isn't there and with the education cuts here in TX we just go day by day. Special needs will take a hammering this budget cycle. I remember autism being a rare disorder and most special needs classes were a small group, maybe 5 or 10 kids. My son's school classes are so big they have had to expand the school just for autism. My son even plays T-ball in a special needs league. Yes, an entire league of special needs kids, 9 teams. Autism is a growing problem indeed. Cause is unknown. Treatment is not very good and they will most likely never be employable. But parents never lose hope. My own son can't really talk yet at 9 but we are working on it.
