Got my new Handi-Grip for the SS Huntsman today. It looks decent with the Old forend and new buttstock, but am thinking of tooling the new forend to hold the ramrod. Anybody done it and have pics?

Look down about 23 post (My new camo huntsman) . I made a camo stock set by drilling out the forend. Is that what you had in mind?

Yep, that is what I had in mind. Looks like you used the existing sling stud hole, so I assume you have the spring backwards from before? [I am going Syn to Syn, may differ from wood ???]
BTW, great looking camo Huntsman.

Here's more pics. I carved out the area and trimmed down the spring to make it fit.

H&R has synthetic Huntsman forends, at least they did not long ago, it's mentioned in the acc barrel sticky above.
