Handi rifle stocks

Guys:
Its probably was discussed before but I missed it.  Are there any stocks that work better or worse then others as far as accuracy is concerned?

It's bacic ergonomics. Not specfically handi related.

Monti caps fit most people better for scopes than open sites. And conversely non monti carlo stocks fit most better for open sites.

Bulky heAvy stocks generally shoot better as the extra weight tames recoil and steadies the firearm. But suks if it's a walk about hunting firearm.

Straight IE English of pistol grip are more personal preferance.

On my 38-55TM with the BC type stocks I liked the more traditional look, but was really quite surprised how much better the Ultra Varmint (cin. Lams first) and now the Topper Deluxe Classic stocks have more straight back recoil and holds 'on' better. For me things 'tightened up' a bit in both offhand and bench over the original.
The palletwood stocks will be similar in architexture to these, just determine, as mentioned, if you want the Monty Carlo for scope use or low comb for 'iron sights'.
BTW, Im long of arm and neck so the extra length of the recoil pad equiped buttstocks work well. At first they seemed a bit too long, but if I grab the hardplate PW stock rifle it now seems short. If you are shorter of reach than me you may prefer the hardplate.
