Every one has had at least once in thier life had a AFD joke played on them right. Well if you would of told me friday 4/1/2011 you knew where there was a National Trappers Assotiation .223 H&R rifle that I could buy I would of chuckled and said ya sure Aprils fools to you too!!! But while on my way friday to Kenosha to spend the weekend chasing Steelhead I stopped at this little Gun/Bait shop on the way there just like I always do as he has from time to time had a few H&R's there but not to many and i have never bought one that he had. But I always got to look . So I went in looked behind the counter saw only one and asked what the caliber was he say's 223 really wasn't interested in a 223 but said let me see it as I asked how much he said$260 as he handed it to me. I turned it over and on the stock I could see the NTA medallion and said holy crap!!! (there went my not interested bargining power) I looked it over a little more and asked how much room he had to bargain with ? He picked up the calculater and acted like he was punching #'s and said $230... I said out the door and you got a deal. If I hadn't of choked all over myself I prolly could of got it for $200. Here I thought this thing was just a myth no body talks of them never seen one . Another one checked off my list hot dang!!! I know ...I will post pictures in the morn this thing has beautiful thin gray lam stocks. Must of burned all my luck on it as I got no trout. Kurt
