I have done some minor adjustments to my Saiga 223, just the Tapco stock and rail mount for a scope. I am now to the point i would like to start evaluating hand guards. Wondering what the best performance hand guard there was on the market or if any one would recommend the shorter galil style hand guard? I do realize there would be a greater deal of adjustment with the galil, but i like projects.
My primary purpose for the Saiga is plinking, occasional home defense, and maybe some thick brush deer hunting. I am planning on at least adding a vertical grip for enhanced free hand accuracy.
