SB2 reciever Broken firing pin return spring?

I went shooting with my cousin the other day and had problems after a couple of shots,my firing pin wouldnt return to the inside of the frame on its own,I pushed the spring back into the reciever an it fired another round and stuck again,did that a few times and put it away,Do you think I have a broken firing pin return spring?What pins do I need to drive out to get the firing pin mechanism out?

Push the firing pin forward manually to check it, it's either a broken return spring, bent pin or just dirty, complete frame R&R info can be found in the FAQs trigger info by Perklo, you need to remove all of the pins(except the hinge) to remove the firing pin unless the transfer bar is broken. Brownells has the pin and maybe the spring. Might as well do a trigger job and replace the hammer spring while you're in there, Wolff EP springs are available direct from them, Midway and I think Brownells, links in the FAQs.

and here I was hoping Id only have to take out one pin and replace the spring oh well,thanks for the info

Drop the forestock & barrel, push the F-pin back in the recess and spay some cleaner in the hole with the skinny nozzle. If it might harm the buttstock wrap it with something. Let the cleaner flush it out and soak, give another blast, then air hose it.
If it doesnt free up you will have to knock out the top pin (always from right to left side) but that will also drop the barrel release lever. No big deal, just a little akward to reassemble.
I replaced one of my F-pin return springs with a hardware store model and it works fine.
